How to Travel Light ? XD

i am home....with stupid jetlag! arhh i really dont like jet lag. but cant really do anything bout it.just hoping that my biological clock and hormones will detect the changes to surroundings more quickly and hopefully will disappear sooon.lol

i just got back from Spain and the trip was freaking awesome! i mean not like the whole time coz OBVIOUSLY theres gonna be dramas that kind of things when u go travelling, and different

people have different desires and needs. lol. apart from that, i really like Spain even tho the temperature in Madrid was like 40C! it was like superbly hot and i just felt like staying indoors. lol

so back to the topic, how to travel light for a short trip? i was in Spain for 5 days which i consider to be a short trip. Basically what i brought there are the ones in the pics.

My rule of thumb. Number of days = Number of shirts/tshirts/polo etc + 1. Lol im so technical until i have to do this kind of stupid equation. lol. u dont have to bring many because you will definitely gonna buy " I love Spain" that kind of tshirts there and u can use those when u sleep or even during the days going out sightseeing. as for my case, i bought one Hard Rock Cafe tshirt Barcelona and 'I love Barcelona" tshirt when i was there so i used them at night coz they are in black so i didnt feel that hot if used them at night. by the way do you know that black attires will

sort of 'absorb' the heat and u gonna feel warmer? or in Madrids case, u will feel like ure burning yourself in that tshirt? well i guess its common sense lol.

A pair of shoes obviously but do bring ur favourite ones coz u gonna be in those shoes almost all the time and of course you dont want your ugly shoes to ruin your perfect pics LOLL . oh dont forget to bring a pair of flipflops esp during summer coz at one point, u just cannot stand the heat and u just feel like walking naked. this is the time when flipflops come into rescue. lol i didnt bring one from London, wanted to get a pair of Havaianas and checked on Schuh online and apparently they had like this 30percent discount or something on their flipflops. went to their

store at Westfield but it was at full price!!! so didnt get those :( but actually i really want to hav them coz they are like really comfortable to wearr. however, i got myself a pair (not havaianas tho) in Spain.

i brought one hoodie to Spain coz in Europe no matter how hot it is during days, its still gonna be

cold at night. i mean not like the coldness that we have to face during winter times (esp in London), but its gonna be like 15ish Celcius, so i just felt like bringing one just in case it gets really cold. but if u dont really wanna bring one, its still okay i reckon :)

Cameras!! i brought one chunky DSLR camera to take ur amazing photos of scenery and the

buildings etc etc. and ur compact camera will come in handy when u decide to go out at night to hav some fun :). you dont really wanna bring ur big chunky camera when u go out at night, do you? ;)

Heres the most important bit of what to pack actually! we might be alittle excited to bring all ur fav shirts,shoes, whatever and tend to forget all these necessities during travelling. i would say the most important parts are plasters, perfume, and face moisturiser. my feet were not really my bestfriend during my Spain trip. apart from massive muscle ache for walking too much (which i expected), i suffered serious effect of blisters! lol probably when we walk too much with the same shoes, flipflops, they gonna put like some pressure on your skin, and the friction between them somehow make u walk like a crab or a duck having cancer. seriously i suffered like hell with these blisters and we had to stop a few times just to have some rest and soothe the pain from it. that is why i think plasters is like the most important thing to bring when u go travelling! and i think its even more important for the ladiesss (hehe) coz usually they have these kinds of flats which look good on them but not good for the feet especially when u walk like 100000km per day. lol.

perfume. u gonna be out the whole day. and its summer.u gonna be sweating like u never sweat before.lol. so i sprayed like more than usual when i went out then when i got back to our place at night, i didnt smell too bad though lol.and please bring the perfume that suits the weather, u dont really wanna shhuhh people away when your weird combination of ur sweat + perfume produces a really weird strong discomfort kind of smell.

face moisturiser. i dont know bout others but im the kind of guy who put on this kind of thing erytime i go out and before sleep. lol. and this is even moreeeeee important when u go to a very hot dry place like Spain, u dont want to touch ur face in the middle of the day and it feels like a surface of a deserted desert, do you? ;) it would be good if u could have the SPF kind of moisturiser so u dont have to apply a 2nd cream for UV protection.

apart from that, i brought all the essentials like face wash, body shower, shampoo, hair gel, comb, deo, minyak cap kapak, panadol, toothbrush, lipbalm, etc. actually u dont really have to bring ur toothpaste, shampoo, showergel all that liquidy stuff over, just get them at ur travelled place, then u dont have to go all the hassle to take out ur liquids at the custom and show them what u actually have for ur body lol. plus they are quite heavy. and if u travel in a big group, u can share buying all these things if ure not the fussy type (and save money :) ). but since i got all these at home, i just brought them over.

OHHHH EUROPE POWER POINT. they are not 3-pin power point like we have in the UK. so please bring the 2 pin power point, or u'll just have to get one at the airport or somewhere (which usually costs u sooooo much more coz they dont really sell this thing in Spain coz they dont really need this? only for tourists lol)

so yeahhh basically thats all i think its still considered light coz u bring only what u need not what want for the trip.loll
